Amsafe Calls for Class Suspension Due to Heat

In the southern zone of Rosario and the city of Villa Gobernador Gálvez, there has been a problem with water supply, which has led the local union to share a statement from Aguas Provinciales regarding the situation. Due to the lack of responses, the union has expressed its concern about the conditions in which schools in the area are located.

In this regard, the union has stated that public works are underfunded, leading to the suspension of classes in schools without water and in minimal conditions. A call has been made to evaluate the situation in each educational institution, as they believe that students cannot be in classrooms under inappropriate conditions for learning.

Amsafe, another teachers' union, has released a video showing the difficult situation in schools, with high temperatures and a lack of adequate cooling systems. They have questioned whether the necessary conditions for teaching and learning are present in these circumstances.

Juan Pablo Casiello, Secretary General of Amsafe, has requested the suspension of classes in those schools that do not have the minimum conditions to cope with the extreme heat experienced in the region. He has denied the governor's claims about investment in schools and emphasized the need to improve the conditions in which students and teachers find themselves.

Due to the lack of cooling systems and water supply problems in several schools, a review of the conditions in each institution has been requested. According to a survey conducted by Amsafe, most classrooms do not have adequate ventilation systems to cope with high temperatures, which puts the health of students and teachers at risk.

In conclusion, the situation in schools in the region is concerning due to the precarious conditions they are in, especially during high-temperature periods. The call is to improve the infrastructure of educational institutions to ensure a safe and conducive environment for student learning.
